The Inside Out Project was featured in one of the three yearly editions of The National Society for Education in Art and Design’s AD magazine.
Following the Inside Out Project’s 10th anniversary, our team has been increasing its efforts to bring Actions into classrooms around the world. Through the years, our Inside Out Group Leaders have shown us the many ways that Inside Out can be used to engage students and make learning more fun and personally relevant.
The Inside Out Education has grown from photobooth truck visits to schools and video calls with educators, to a full Education program aiming to make teaching with Inside Out easy and fun.
'From pre-school level to postgraduate, educational Actions have honoured diversity and boosted kids and young adults’ self-confidence through self-expression. With the help of educators, the Inside Out team has created a curriculum to give future group leaders ideas on how to use their Action for educational purposes. It contains activities to be adapted to the participants’ age, subject taught and social context.'
The two page article sheds light on the evolution of the Project, its application in the classroom and conversations we have had with socially engaged teenagers.
